| Nürnberg buildings and landmarks: Sinwell Tower at the Imperial Castle (more like a fort, really), Luginsland Tower, and a window in Imperial Castle. The lower row of photos show the horse-drawn carriage ride at the Christmas Market and a sign on the wall in the restaurant where we enjoyed our lunch. | ||

My favorite photos of mom and Peter are these two--the one at left where they
are enjoying shopping inside the
Käthe Wohlfahrt store, and
the next one, below, in front of Heilig-Geist-Spital (the Hospital of the Holy
Spirit was established in 1332–39 by Konrad Gross, for the care of elderly and
needy)

At the end of our fabulous time, Peter escorted us back to our ship, and
we said our goodbyes. I hope he caught his return train to Frankfurt!
Then our ship sailed, and we said goodbye to Nürnberg. |
