Wiener ChristkindlmarktMountains in the distance, seen from Vienna airport Because we arrived at night, and went to the airport in the morning, we didn't see much of Vienna, just the Christmas Market at Town Hall. But it's a dazzling Christmas Market! Check out these pictures.

The "toys" below right are not for kids. They are wooden figures that appear to be smoking if you place a lighted incense inside them. They're called Räuchermännchen or "little smoking man." Not toys, but rather a way during the holidays for adults to have a bit of fun.

Golden ornaments at Vienna Christmas Market Ornaments, drink, food, treats, candles, all available at the Wiener Christkindlmarkt. Check out how the Town Hall windows were made into a giant Advent Calendar.
